1990, AᴍᴇʟᴅA developed and implemented the acclaimed “Relocation Assistance Program”, which is now available in Family Support Centers at every United States military installation world wide. This program gained AᴍᴇʟᴅA acclaim from the Air Force Chief of Staff, Michael Dugan and the Airman’s Magazine referred to her as “The One to Call” and an “Unsung Hero”. General Dugan informed Senator Inouye of Hawaii and Senator Benson of Texas about her outstanding accomplishments for the Armed Forces. The senators in turn acknowledged her accomplishments with letters of gratitude and commendation. AᴍᴇʟᴅA has received numerous Senatorial and Congressional Citations for her unselfish service on behalf of the Armed Forces Committee. (Airman Magazine, August 1990, page 52 & 53)
Presidential Honors were conferred on AᴍᴇʟᴅA in 1994 by President William J. Clinton, Commander in Chief, for her prayers for the United States and for her work praying for the United States Military. President Clinton called FAITH International Ministries, “a one of a kind Prayer Ministry”. FAITH has its humble beginnings in the US Armed Forces, as a ministry of Prayer and Training. One of her passion is, continuing to present for the US Armed Forces.
AᴍᴇʟᴅA prophetically announced in her prayer circle while attending Dr. Bright’s Fasting and Prayer ’96 that “Dr. Billy Graham would come to the St. Louis area to preach an Evangelistic Crusade”. She believed that God who gave it to her prophetically would not disappoint. In spite of Dr. Graham’s illness at the time she dared to trust the God of her salvation, that the “word He sends forth would not return to Him void”. (Isaiah 55:11)
An Intercessor and a football fan AᴍᴇʟᴅA watched the construction of the Trans World Dome in 1994-1995. The Dome was to be the new home for the NFL Rams franchise. AᴍᴇʟᴅA thought about all the people in their city who did not know Christ and she prayed “what if Billy Graham could come here”? She wondered out loud ―how many lives could be changed if Billy Graham did come”? In November of 1996 attended the Fasting and Prayer ’96 Event with more than 3700 people who had all gathered at the America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. During a small prayer circle AᴍᴇʟᴅA again prayed that Billy Graham would come to their city (he had been there previously in 1953 and 1973). Unknown to AᴍᴇʟᴅA, God was already answering that prayer! In another prayer circle in the same room Harold H. Hendrick, President of Hendrick Ministries found himself seated near Sterling Huston, Director of the North American Ministries for Billy Graham Evangelistic Services. The two became acquainted and discussed the spiritual condition of the people in St. Louis. Following the Fasting and Prayer Event local Christian leaders issued a formal invitation to Dr. Graham which was accepted. The Greater St. Louis Billy Graham Crusade was to be held at the Trans World Dome on October 14 to 17th. More than 700 churches representing 60 denominations participated according to Decision Magazine, October 1999 edition. AᴍᴇʟᴅA attended the Billy Graham School of Evangelism and was assigned as one of the intercessors for the Crusade. All to the glory of God, her involvement with the Graham Camp did not end there.
In 1999 AᴍᴇʟᴅA was one of three women recommended by Senator Edward M. Kennedy to the Honorable William S. Cohen, Secretary of Defense to serve as an expert to develop standard procedures, training requirements and tracking procedures for domestic violence cases. As successful as she was and with all the accolades the world offered her in the Market Place, AᴍᴇʟᴅA knew it was time to answer the Lord’s “Macedonian Call” as an Ambassador for Christ. The call gripped AᴍᴇʟᴅA’s heart and she knew it was time to pursue F.A.I.T.H. International Ministries, a ministry of prayer and training. She knew the thoughts and plans He purposed for her before the foundation of the world and that she had to concentrate on them NOW as a Prophetic Intercessor, Speaker, Teacher and Mentor to His people.
From 1971 to 1993 AᴍᴇʟᴅA served the military as a military spouse, a mother, DoD employee, Joan Orr Award recipient.
She also served in several positions in the Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC) including
Precept Ministry Inductive Bible Study Teacher.
In 1994 to 1996 AᴍᴇʟᴅA served on the PWOC National Board Titus 2 Advisor. At present she is a consultant from time to time.
In 2000 Billy Graham Crusades invited AᴍᴇʟᴅA to attend Amsterdam 2000
and they made it possible for her to attend in grand fashion.
Invited by Prison Fellowship, she spoke at Angola prison in Louisianan,
where guard and prisoners gave their lives to Jesus Christ!
In 2002 – 2004 AᴍᴇʟᴅA was invited to the Israeli Embassy and to the National Day of Prayer Observances.
In 2003 the Graham Camp again found AᴍᴇʟᴅA and invited her to the San Diego CA, Graham Mission. She was invited to visit the prisons on their behalf. Since AᴍᴇʟᴅA is fluent in Spanish, she was a featured speaker/teacher. She stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in lock down at the El Hongo men’s prison along with five other leaders and five Mexican prison workers.
El Hongo is considered one of the worst prison in Mexico. Waking at four a.m. she led the men inmates in intercessory prayer. With tears in her heart she saw hard core prisoners give their lives to the Lord along with 2 prison guards who asked
“what must I do to be saved”.
2004 AᴍᴇʟᴅA traveled to South Korea, invited as the keynote speaker by the Protestant Women of The Chapel for their Faith Lift International Conference—God moved in an incredible way, AᴍᴇʟᴅA was able to stand on the Demilitarize Zone and pray for North Korea. Then it was on to Hawaii.
2004 AᴍᴇʟᴅA was invited by the Ambassador of Zambia the Honorable Dr Inonge Lawanika. She met with the president of Zambia, lunched for lunch met with the first Lady of Zambia—and a guest at the residency of the Ambassador of United States to Zambia. Since 2000 she has maintained a friendship and ministry links with Ambassador Inonge.
2004 After hearing of AᴍᴇʟᴅA, she was invited by the President of Panamá’s brother (who is the president Chief Advisor) to raise-up-intercessors for Panamá—This ongoing ministry—with three objectives: 1)—Intercessors to be raise-up for Panamá—2) the president to proclaim Panamá a Christian Nation—3) Panamá having Annual National Day of Prayer for the country. The first objective is on the way and with the help of the Lord the others will be accomplished!
2005 AᴍᴇʟᴅA traveled to Kuwait and to Incirlick Air Force Base as the keynote speaker. The Wing Commander of the base was pleased with her visit as he visited with her.
2006 AᴍᴇʟᴅA collaborates with: Intercessors For America (IFA), Operation Starting Line (Prison Fellowship Ministries), FAITH Outreach Ministries to Panamá, with other churches in the country—Central America, Pacific Basin, Kenya, Zambia, United States, Europe and Rwanda. She also serves as Board Officer for Bridge to Hope Ministries, Freedom in the Son, and WoW 4 the Word Ministries. Youth With A Mission (YWAM)—has invited her to Collaborate with them in Megacities in Cairo Egypt
…and numerous other ministries!
2017 On September 22, 2017 AᴍᴇʟᴅA was Elected, Ordered and Consecrated, with International Apostille, a Bishop in the Lord’s Church in Panamá, F.A.I.T.H. INTERNATIONAL CHURCH in her country for the work she has done since June, 1971 and beyond. Today she is known internationally as Bishop Mother AᴍᴇʟᴅA Thomas-Jones.
2020 In October 2019 the Lord disrupted her life from praying for a Winter to hibernate at home, to initiating the Macedonian Call #1, to Jamaica; to teach and encourage the saints, and to Panamá; ordaining and training pastors and opening new churches … it was a major disruption.
With the Protection of God the entire time in Jamaica and Panamá, God extended a two week stay to almost three months. Being focused with the task at hand, she was oblivious of what was going on in the world. The pandemic started and borders around the world were closing. The major chaos at Tocumen Airport, Panamá, March 18, 2020 is when she first heard of the Pandemic – almost three months after it began. She made it home 6 hours prior to the borders closing.
Today, with Clarion Calls 2 Intercession ~ as IT IS WRITTEN, alongside HE WHO FOREVER LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION ~ she forges forward; teaching and equipping intercessors around the world on Zoom and YouTube. She has experienced God-sized miracles through His Holy Spirit.
At present, AᴍᴇʟᴅA is in full time ministry with Father Answers Intercessors Travailing in Holiness (F.A.I.T.H.) International Ministries. She is a Holy Ghost filled, uncompromising speaker and teacher.
Having written two earlier – now out of print – teaching manuals, “F.A.I.T.H. Clarion Calls to Stand in the Gap” and “The Clarion Call to Intercessory Prayer”, AᴍᴇʟᴅA now has two currently available on Amazon: “Praying Your Church Into Her Glorious Destiny”, and “The Ancient Keys of Intercession” that she has written as she pursues with a passion God’s call on her life. The training that she received at the Billy Graham School of Evangelism has kept her focused on the Gospel and not mixes the fabric of Truth of His Word. She is led of the Lord to raise-up and mentor the next generation of Intercessors and Leaders!
2021 Clarion Calls to Prayer on Zoom: Beginning on December 12, 2020 with “F.A.I.T.H. Clarion Call for Panamá and the World”, and on January 29, 2022 with “WorldWide Clarion Call 2 Intercessory Prayer”, she continues to use this 21st Century tool to continue to unite saints and prayer warriors around the globe, and cover the earth with prayer.
F.A.I.T.H. also partners with and covers with intercessory prayer “Uncle Clyde and FLOCK Jamaica”, a Children’s Ministry in Kingston, Jamaica, and aided to establish their YouTube Channel reaching the next generation ages 5-12 for Christ.
2022 After the success of Macedonian Call #1 in 2020, the Lord assigned AᴍᴇʟᴅA to Macedonian Call #2, in February 12, 2022: “Repentance at the Border of Panamá and Costa Rica”. Now, Holy Spirit is preparing for Macedonian Calls #3 & #4 in 2022.

AᴍᴇʟᴅA is a part of the Clergy in her church: New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church (www.nlicic.org) where her Pastor is Bishop Geoffrey V. Dudley, Sr., PhD, D.Min., Senior Pastor. She was ordained as an Elder on June 30, 2011 and serves on the Elders Council. She loves her church family where their rally cry is We are life changers, changing Lives in our lifetime with the help of Christ. Changing Lives Ministries is the covering for F.A.I.T.H. F.A.I.T.H. Int’l Ministries is Governed by a Board of Advisors; Board Trustees, and a local Executive Board.
When not traveling AᴍᴇʟᴅA can be found in leadership at her church enjoying Bishop’s preaching and teaching. AᴍᴇʟᴅA believes that being in ministry also dictates that you need to be fed and under the covering of Jesus inspired of God’s uncompromised Word, winning souls, discipleship, caring for others… growing in the word of the Lord … as God’s hands extended to others.
